George Y. Yiangou (I.D.R) Ltd was established in order to provide exclusive services in the field of International Debt Recovery, with the changeover of title George Y. Yiangou & Co into a Limited Liability Company in January 2013.
With over 30 years’ experience in International Debt Recovery, George Y. Yiangou I.D.R Ltd has developed successful business relations with a large number of clients all over the world and has gained a firm reputation as an efficient and reliable partner.
The firm’s head office is situated in Nicosia, the major business center of Cyprus with branch offices in Athens and Thessaloniki (Greece), an associate office in Istanbul (Turkey) and associate law firms worldwide. We collect debts primarily in Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Our head office in Cyprus employs qualified experienced debt collectors and an administrative team who can provide high quality assistance in Greek, English, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Italian, German, Turkish, Romanian and Arabic. Our experienced staff use all the conventional collection procedures, and is particularly knowledgeable of the business environment and practices in the countries we cover. The bi-lingual collection managers use their negotiation skills to obtain payment proposals and are usually able to find acceptable debt collection solutions to disputes or misunderstandings that may exist between the relevant parties.
Even though litigation is only proposed to our clients as a last option, our firm has the advantage of 15 qualified in – house Lawyers who can provide a very professional service from the amicable phase to legal procedures. We have also established a network of International lawyers worldwide thus assuring our clients of efficient legal assistance globally.
